Exhaling College

Monday it ended. The decisions, the struggles, the crossed t's and dotted i's mean little now except in the fact that they are now permanently etched. Moot, even. A stone has been set, a door has closed, the windows it has opened are not in the same house. The weight that I have carried - both arduously and with pride - will now be missing, replaced only by the weight of a void, which is heavier than you might think.

I stood on a rainy street corner yesterday, back where I had begun. Removed in a place I had longed to be. However, this time it was not about to be mine, but instead once was. I could think of nothing to do other than exhale.

You just made me so sad about graduating college. And I did it two years ago!

Also, congrats on the new blog home. Hooray for Blogger!

Sigh, I am sad too - more so than I thought I would be. But yay for Blogger, indeed!
